Without faith humanity will fall
With an abundance of virtues, having faith is the greatest of all.
Not a battle would be won
Nor a note would be sung.
In the abscence of faith troublesome time would weigh a ton.
Life would be the aching between the two shoulders on which time was carried.
Love would be the belt strapped tight around the waist
supporting the fracturing spine as it cracks from the pressure of being married
To that time.
Time is not even matter
but it would only be a matter of time
Before humanity could not withstand such weight
Collapsing to its knees.
Crying out in anguish like wind howling through the trees.
At the sun, to the moon
looking for some safety
